BiH Presidency Chairman Bakir Izetbegović received the Ambassador of the Republic of Italy to BiH, Raimondo de Cardona
At the meeting it was talked about overall relations of the two countries, the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region, as well as the preparations for the big conference of political and religious world leaders on peace among cultures and religions, planned for September 2012 in Sarajevo.
Chairman Izetbegović expressed discontent with the irresponsible behaviour of those who broke the existing coalitions and with it returned the country to the state of political uncertainty. He reminded that, after it took 16 months to form the government, we are in a situation where we are returning to that issue, rather than focusing on far more important issues.
The interlocutors, inter alia, agreed about the need for BiH to, at soonest, fulfil her obligations on her European path, regardless of the outcome of the current political crisis in the country. They marked that the preparations for the September conference are running according to plan.
