The member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina attended the memorial service to the fallen soldier in the new Holy Trinity temple and laid flowers on the monument to the fallen soldiers of the defensive homeland war.
Dr Ivanić reminded that the Herzegovinian corps of the Army of Republika Srpska is the symbol of strong resistance and fight for freedom, and that the Gacko brigade was one of the best, not just in that corps, but in the whole of the Army of Republika Srpska.
“Herzegovinians, as well as Krajina people, have always been the symbol of freedom and the symbol of strength. That is why they always rebelled, had uprisings for freedom they fought for, because the freedom is most valuable,” said BiH Presidency Member Dr Mladen Ivanić.
Dr Ivanić said that great strength was needed to the fighters of the Gacko brigade for holding a large area and victory.
“For that, I thank you very much once again. The greatest value of the Army of Republika Srpska is that it prevented suffering of civilians and for creating Republika Srpska. While there are Serbs in Bosnia and Herzegovina, there will be Republika Srpska. And we know how to save Srpska,”said BiH Presidency Member from Republika Srpska Dr Mladen Ivanić.
