BiH Presidency members Bećirović and Cvijanović expressed a warm welcome to President Čaputová, emphasizing that there are no open issues between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Slovak Republic, that bilateral relations are good and friendly, which represents the basis for further strengthening of cooperation, in accordance with mutually expressed interests on the bilateral and international plan.

They emphasized that Bosnia and Herzegovina appreciates and
welcomes the constant support of the Republic of Slovakia in the process of
European integration, and that it is counted on that support in the future.
They confirmed the complete and unquestionable commitment of
Bosnia and Herzegovina to full membership in the European Union.
Members
of BiH Presidency thanked the President of the Republic of Slovakia for the
participation of Slovak soldiers in the EUFOR-ALTEA peacekeeping mission in
Bosnia and Herzegovina.
President
Čaputová pointed out that one of the priorities of
the Slovak Republic is to support the integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina and
the Western Balkans into the European Union.
The
interlocutors stated that it is necessary to work on improving the economic
cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Slovakia, which
has been on the rise lately. President Čaputová
expressed her country's interest in larger investment in Bosnia and
Herzegovina.
At
the meeting, a common position was expressed that it is necessary to open the
embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Bratislava as soon as possible, which
would contribute to the improvement of mutual relations and cooperation between
the two countries in all areas.
