BiH Presidency member Komšić, who was a member of the RBiH Army and this brigade, and is the holder of the highest war medal "Golden Lily", emphasized in his address that it is important to pass on the feeling of loyalty to Bosnia and Herzegovina to the future generation, regardless of how it looked thirty years after the war.

"The homeland is the homeland, whatever it
is, it is ours. You should continue to pass on that love and that attitude
towards Bosnia and Herzegovina to future generations. Our parents, and those
before us, instilled the same love deep into our hearts. That's why everything
looked like that from 1992 to the end of 1995, we managed to defend the
country, although at certain moments it seemed impossible, but we
succeeded".
Before the ceremonial part of the program, BiH
Presidency member Komšić laid a wreath at the memorial in front of the
Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo, honoured the fallen comrades and shaheeds.
