BiH Presidency Member Dr Haris Silajdžić believes that the change of the status of Kosovo is not the issue of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Bosnia and Herzegovina will not allow any interference in internal affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Competent institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina are obligated to protect peace and security of citizens in case of any attempt to transfer the tension to Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially in relation to the population of returnees, who are the centre of the domestic competent institutions’ and the international factor’s attention.

In its relations with Bosnia and Herzegovina, we expect the Republic of Serbia to base the relations on the principle of mutual respect and respect for international law, including the commitments imposed on Serbia by the verdict of the International Court of Justice of February 26, 2007.
