The opening was also attended by President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Marinko Čavara and Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Fadil Novalić.
The Sarajevo bypass was built three months ahead of the contracted
deadline.
The Butila ring road is projected for a three tier traffic
interchange on the following routes: Sarajevo bypass en route to Zenica and
Mostar, entering and leaving Sarajevo towards Zenica, and entering and leaving
Sarajevo towards Mostar.
The usage of the bypass on the A1 motorway was and will remain free
of charge.
