6/9/2016

The project on restoration of the Music School in Mostar, in which both TIKA and UNDP were planning to engage actively, was the main subject of the discussion. However, the competent institutions have not initiated legal preparations aimed at ensuring a smooth implementation of this restoration project yet, and they should do so shortly.

Furthermore, Coordinator Sinanoglu informed Chairman Izetbegović on the current UN project “Dialogue for the Future“, which contributed to building closer relations among the young in BiH. Director Şanli also presented the current status of activities in Bužim, where TIKA was funding and implementing the construction of a sports hall.

Chairman of the Presidency of BiH Izetbegović discussed with Ambassador Erginay the forthcoming trilateral meeting of heads of state of BiH, Turkey and Croatia, planned to take place in July. Mitigating domestic exporters' difficulties in placement of meat to the Republic of Turkey market was discussed, too.
