Cihad Erginay, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey conveyed to Bakir Izetbegović, BiH Presidency Chairperson greetings and gratitude of Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Government of the Republic of Turkey for his prompt and unequivocal support in difficult moments during the brutal attempted coup in the evening between Friday and Saturday.
Ambassador Erginay informed
the Chairperson on developments of the situation in Turkey, and on the
standpoints of the Turkish Government. Bakir Izetbegović, BiH Presidency
Chairperson pointed out that he was following with close attention the ongoing
events in the Republic of Turkey, and re-iterated that Bosnia and Herzegovina
would continue to nourish strong bilateral relations between the two countries,
while extending the expressions of support to the efforts invested by the
Government of the Republic of Turkey aimed at preserving stability and
democratic constitutional order.
