The interlocutors underlined friendly relations and good bilateral cooperation between the two states, highlighting that there is scope for further improvement particularly in the field of economy and investments.

Ambassador Mumina said he was pleased that
numerous investors from Saudi Arabia will take part in this year’s Business
forum, and he informed Chairman Izetbegović that the Saudi delegation will be
led by Majed Bin Abdullah Al Kassabi, the Minister of Commerce and Investment.
Ambassador Mumina stated he was saddened
with the lack of support in the Parliament of BiH to the bilateral agreement
between BiH and Saudi Arabia relating to projects in the field of education.
Chairman Izetbegović said he expected that
this agreement will be adopted at the repeated procedure in the Parliament of
BiH. He said there was no excuse for its rejection bearing in mind the
continuous help that friendly state of Saudi Arabia offers to Bosnia and
Herzegovina, and which benefits all citizens of our country.
Chairman Izetbegović condemned firing of
ballasting missiles from Yemen to cities in Saudi Arabia, highlighting that an
attack on civilians and innocent people is an unjustifiable cowardly act.
Izetbegović offered his condolences to the family of the last victim of such an
attack.
Chairman Izetbegović pointed out his
concern about the conflict in the Arab world and called for all disagreements
be resolved through dialogue and in a peaceful manner.
