Chairman Izetbegović informed the ambassador of Mongolia about the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the reform implementation process which is set to improve the quality of life of the citizens, and to fulfil conditions for gaining a candidate status for the membership in the European Union and activation of MAP.

The interlocutors agreed that the overall
relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Mongolia are friendly and without
open questions, but that they are not sufficiently developed because of the
geographical distance. Both expressed readiness and the need for the
improvement in all fields where there is potential for cooperation, particularly
in the field of economy and culture.
The ambassador of Mongolia expressed hope
that the long lasting and friendly relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and
Mongolia will continue in the period ahead.
Chairman Izetbegović stressed at the
letters of credence ceremony that the bilateral relations between Bosnia and
Herzegovina and Ghana are good. The need for regulating contractual relations
and sign basic bilateral agreements was expressed, as well as the need to
initiate high level visits to create a better basis for furthering of bilateral
cooperation. The interlocutors particularly pointed out the need for
cooperation in the field of tourism; the field in which Bosnia and Herzegovina
is marking significant progress.
The
ambassador of Ghana expressed hope that there will be a realization of the
first investments of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Ghana.
Chairman Izetbegović wished the newly
appointed ambassadors a successful missions in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
