Member of BiH Presidency Dr Denis Bećirović spoke with members of the Office for Coordination of Bosniak National Councils

Member of the BiH Presidency Dr Denis Bećirović spoke with representatives of the Office for Coordination of Bosniak National Councils, who arrived in Sarajevo from Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo, North Macedonia, the United States of America and Canada.

During the meeting, Dr Bećirović pointed out that the meeting of Bosniak councils in Sarajevo is an important and concrete step in the process of connecting them with each other and establishing solid cooperation with civil society organizations in the homeland. Dr Bećirović informed the guests that the Global Network of Bosnia and Herzegovina Diaspora started operating within his cabinet, with the aim of connecting the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina abroad.

The guests informed Bećirović that, in the coming days, they will consider important issues about the status of Bosniaks in the countries where they currently reside. The adoption of strategic documents and emblems of the Bosniak people is also planned, and closer connection and cooperation with the motherland will be considered.

The delegation of the Office for Coordination of Bosniak Councils consisted of: Suljo Mustafić, President of the Bosniak Council in Montenegro, Chairman of the Office; Emir Zlatar MSc, Secretary General of the Council of the Congress of Bosniak Intellectuals of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Executive Secretary of the Office; Academician Hasnija Tuna Muratagić Phd, Steering Bord Chairwoman; Mirsad Rastoder, Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Bosniak Council in Montenegro; Misala Pramenković Phd, Chairwoman of the Bosniak National Council in Serbia; Dr Fuad Baćićanin, Executive Board Chairman of the Bosniak National Council in Serbia; Kadro Kulašin, Chairman of the Coordination of cantonal councils, Zagreb City Council and cantonal representative of Bosniak national minority in the Republic of Croatia, Dževad Hot, Chairman of the Bosniak National Council in North Macedonia; Academician Fehim Husković, Vice Chairman of the Bosniak National Council of North Macedonia; Eldin Kajević, the Congress of the Bosniaks of North America (USA and Canada); Agim Ferati, a member of the Consulting Council representing Bosniak communities at the Office of the president of Kosovo; Edhem Bičakčić, President of the Organizing Committee of the Coordination Office for the organization and coordination of the Conference of Bosniak Organizations and Institutions – Sarajevo, 2024; Professor Dr Emeritus Enver Imamović, Chairman of the Committee for Drafting the Resolution on Bosniak Symbols at the Coordination Office and Academician Dr Dževad Jahić, Chairman of the Committee for Bosnian Language and Literature at the Coordination Office.
